1). Numerical
Method for Fractional Partial Differential Equation
In the present program, we mainly show interest in finite
element method and calculation for fractional partial
differential equations.

2) Bifurcation and
Chaos: Numerical Computation and Theoretical Analysis
In this research
program, we show interests in numerical computations and
theoretical analyses of bifurcation and chaos appeared in
complex dynamical networks, fractional differential equations,
and partial differential equations often with some symmetries.
Dr Li has been invited to visit: 1) Aden University as a
visiting associate professor from Feb to July, 2001; 2)
University of Pretoria as a postdoc
fellow from Feb 2004 to Jan 2005; 3) Nanyang
Technological University as a Tan Chin Tuan Fellow from Feb to
May, 2005; 4) City University of Hong Kong as a visiting
scholar, research assistant, senior research assistant,
research fellow from Jan 8 to 14, 2001, from Jan to April,
2002, from June to August, 2003, from May to August, 2005,
respectively.
