Research Interests
Nonlinear Partial Differential Equation Theory
Research Achievements
Applying the Stratification theory, thoroughly analyzed and studied the solution space structure of two kinds of generalized Navier-Stokes equations and the complete equation of mixed fluid. Successfully solved the stability problem of a series of important equations of atmospheric dynamics and the well-posedness of their initial, boundary or mixed problems, i.e. the basic equation of atmospheric motion. Since 1993, received support from the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Science Committee for four times. The result of the project, “The analytic solution to some kinds of partial differential equation in fluid mechanics”, was awarded the National Science & Technology Progress Grade 2 Prize, in 1997.
